Positive: A new build in great location, semi rural. Still being set up. We got there during an early winter cold snap and it took a long time for the house to warm up. The owners kindly brought us two heaters which we needed for the bathroom and end bedrooms. We cooked and suggest a few more utensils such as a colander. There are only two elements. It was lovely to have fresh eggs. Bed lamps will be great. We suggest electric blankets and blind/curtains for the large windows in the lounge. More lounge seating will also be good. An outside plug for car charging would be very useful.
Negative: It is a lovely setting and brand new.
Summary: A pleasant and comfortable stay once the house was warm. Great views. Helpful hosts.

Positive: Excellent property for a quiet night - or two - away from home. The spa pool was a very welcome add-on and not normally included in this price range (don't forget your togs). The beds were very comfy, the kitchen well-appointed, and everything was spotless and new. Much more room than a stuffy motel room, a lot of which are in sore need of major renos in the South Island. We really appreciated having the place to ourselves.

Positive: Lovely new home - warm and comfortable for 6 guests. Hot tub was there (we didn’t realise and didn’t bring togs 😩) Basic supplies (cereal, condiments, small milk were supplied). Quiet place out of main area of town.
Negative: Bathroom bin hadn’t been cleared from previous guests.
